OPEN WELL

“And he looked, and behold a well in the field, and, lo, there were three flocks of sheep lying by it; for out of that well they watered the flocks: and a great stone was upon the well’s mouth.” — Genesis 29:2 (KJV)

Following our season of The Latter Rain, the Lord is bringing us into a new dimension of His provision, access, and divine supply: Open Well.

A well represents a source. It is a place of water, refreshment, provision, and life. In Scripture, wells were often connected to divine encounters, relationships, provision, and destiny. But Genesis 29:2 reveals something important: there was water in the well, yet a great stone was covering its mouth. The supply existed, but access to it was restricted.

This month, we believe God is rolling away every stone that has stood between us and the things He has prepared for us. Every barrier, limitation, delay, disappointment, fear, confusion, and spiritual resistance that has covered our wells is coming under divine intervention.

The well is opening!

There are things God has already prepared that we have not yet accessed. There are opportunities we have not seen, resources we have not discovered, relationships we have not encountered, ideas that have not yet been released, and dimensions of grace we have not yet experienced. This month, may God grant us access to what has been hidden and release what has been held back.

An open well also speaks of depth. God is calling us beyond shallow experiences into deeper encounters with Him. Deeper prayer. Deeper worship. Deeper revelation. Deeper faith. Deeper spiritual understanding. Just as a well carries water beneath the surface, there are depths in God that require us to go beyond the ordinary.

This month, may our spiritual wells be opened again. May prayer become fresh. May our hunger for God’s Word increase. May our passion for His presence be renewed. May every place that has become spiritually dry receive fresh water. May dormant gifts, visions, dreams, and assignments receive new life.

But the well was not only for Jacob. Genesis 29:2 tells us that flocks were waiting beside it to be watered. This reminds us that what God opens in our lives is not meant only for us. Our open well can become another person’s source of refreshment.

May our lives become channels of blessing. May our homes bring peace. May our words bring encouragement. May our work provide solutions. May our ministries bring people closer to God. May our testimonies strengthen those who are waiting for their own breakthrough.

This month, we are believing God for open wells of favour, provision, wisdom, opportunity, creativity, relationships, influence, and spiritual strength. May every closed source be reopened and every blocked channel receive divine attention.

The stone may have been there for a long time, but it was never stronger than the God who could move it.

What has been covered will be uncovered. What has been blocked will be released. What has been inaccessible will become accessible. What has been dry will receive fresh water.

This October, may God roll away every stone standing at the mouth of your well. May you discover hidden sources, encounter divine opportunities, receive fresh supply, and experience depths in God you have never known before.
